Meet Brenda Estrella Pagan

my parents were both teachers so like that's pretty much all I've known and there was something very selfless about education cuz you know you know that you're not curing cancer uh but you are helping people develop skills so they can Sue careers of such you know magnitude so for me there's something about kids they're just young and they're very innocent you have the ability to help mold them and shape them and then you become part of their Journey I'm always trying to improve things I'm always trying to see how I can do better and even when I missed the mark you know what I'm saying like I try to think about okay how was my doing in the situation you put yourself in a mindset of you know like I am the authority I am the executive decision and I am the and I'll be all then the campus will only go so far that's the reason that I became a principal it wasn't so much to be the final say it was because you become a mentor of mentors you know for me the thing that fills me it's like and I guess it is that's the teacher in me is just helping people take ownership become better and just you know learning things so ultimately what I always tell them is like my biggest accomplishment is going to be 1 day for you guys to take over this campus or for need to work you know for you guys I want them to succeed cuz their success is My Success right and when you see ultimately you know like the pipeline of leaders that are coming out of your campus like for me that is the biggest Testament of the service that I you know sent to the world into the district leaders that are you know that are doing right by kids and that are here for the kids not for their own egos or their own title lights for me that is the biggest service that I can you know give this District
