Personal Belongings, Toys, and Lost & Found

Please label your child's jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, coats, lunch bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, and other personal belongings. Clearly labeled items are much easier to return to their owners.

Students should not bring toys, trading cards, collectibles, or other non-school items to campus. These items can create distractions, interfere with learning, and may lead to disagreements among students. Unless specifically requested by a teacher for an instructional activity, toys and personal entertainment items should remain at home.

Parents are also encouraged to refrain from sending students with valuable personal items. Silos Elementary and Medina Valley ISD are not responsible for lost personal belongings brought to school.

Items found on campus are placed in the Lost and Found. To help manage unclaimed items, the Lost and Found will be cleared before extended school breaks, including Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break. Any items that remain unclaimed at those times will be donated.
